All-Inclusive Hunting Packages

Sage Peak Outfitters are trusted Elk Hunting Outfitters in Montana who offer Guided Elk Hunting and other types of Big Game Hunting in Montana:

  • Each hunter has his or her own Montana Hunting Guide
  • Meals and lodging are included
  • Transportation to and from the Bozeman Airport (Gallatin Field Airport) is included
  • We offer a free service for those who need to acquire their Hunting License Online

Sage Peak Outfitters gladly discloses every additional cost which might be incurred. Please browse the site to find out which types of Elk Hunting Gear we provide and what our clients are expected to bring with them.

Sage Peak Outfitters believes in ethical hunting, therefore while hunting with us any hunter who draws blood on an elk, their tag is considered punched and the animal will be tracked until found.

Most of our Elk Hunters are booking 1-2 years in advance. To secure your spot, it is important to book early. A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation dates.

*Elk/deer tag applications are due by April 1st. Montana is no longer on a guaranteed tag system. See I-161 for more info.*

Deposit

A hunt is considered booked when 50% of the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due August 1st for Archery hunters, and September 1st for Rifle hunters. The deposit will be refunded if the hunter is not drawn for a Montana hunting license.

Cancellation Policy

Should a hunter cancel a hunt with Sage Peak Outfitters prior to February 1st, the deposit will be returned in full, less a $200 cancellation fee. It is forfeited if the hunter fails to make the final payment for the remaining balance on time (August 1st for Archery, September 1st for Rifle). Hunters concerned with cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances are encouraged to obtain Travel Insurance endorsed by MOGA (Montana Outfitter and Guide Association). Please click here for more information on MOGA Travel Insurance.

If the hunter fails to send license application information to Sage Peak Outfitters and/or to Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks by April 1, Sage Peak Outfitters has the option to retain the deposit or credit it to another season.

The full cost of the hunt is also forfeited if the hunter cancels after February 1st.

If the hunter fails to make the final payment, or the final payment is late, a 10% late fee will be added to the cost of the hunt, and Sage Peak Outfitters has the option to cancel the hunt and/or to retain the deposit.
